FACE LIFT

A Facelift is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to lift, tighten, and reposition sagging skin and facial tissues. It smoothens deep wrinkles, restores facial contours, and gives a refreshed, youthful appearance—without looking “overdone.”

Who Is a Good Candidate?

You may be suitable for a facelift if you have:

  • Noticeable sagging of the face or jawline

  • Deep wrinkles or folds

  • Loss of facial volume

  • Tired or aged facial appearance

  • Realistic expectations and good overall health

Recovery & Results

  • Most patients look presentable in 10–14 days

  • Swelling and bruising gradually subside over 2–4 weeks

  • Full results become visible in 2–3 months

  • Results last 7–10 years, depending on lifestyle and skin quality

How the Procedure works

  1. Anesthesia – General anesthesia or sedation ensures your comfort.

  2. Incisions – Usually placed around the ears, hairline, and sometimes under the chin for a seamless, hidden finish.

  3. Tissue Repositioning – Deep facial layers (SMAS) are lifted and tightened for structural support.

  4. Skin Redraping – Excess skin is removed, and the remaining skin is gently tightened.

  5. Closing Incisions – Stitches are placed carefully to minimize visible scars.
